DISCOVER THE RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Head of Business Development, your key responsibilities will include:
Strategic Partnership Development: Identify and secure partnerships with ecosystem players such as financial institutions, Web3 startups, and technology integrators to drive adoption and expansion.
Market Expansion: Develop and execute BD strategies targeting new geographies, industries, and use cases.
Deal Negotiation: Structure, negotiate, and close high-value deals to create mutually beneficial opportunities for ecosystem growth.
Thought Leadership: Represent the company at conferences, panel discussions, and media outlets to build brand recognition and thought leadership in the blockchain space.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to align business strategies with technical solutions.
Revenue Growth: Design and execute strategies that lead to measurable increases in revenue, market share, and customer engagement.
DISCOVER THE REQUIREMENTS
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
Extensive Experience in Business Development: Minimum of 7 years in BD, sales, or strategic partnerships, ideally with 3+ years in blockchain/crypto.
Blockchain Expertise: In-depth knowledge of blockchain ecosystems, DeFi, and emerging trends in the crypto industry.
Track Record of Success: Proven ability to structure and close complex, high-value partnerships and deals.
Strategic Vision: Strong skills in identifying market opportunities and crafting actionable BD strategies.
Leadership Skills: Experience managing and mentoring teams, with a collaborative and results-driven mindset.
Exceptional Communication: Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Agility: Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with an entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Experience working in early-stage startups or VC-backed companies.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks related to blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
A strong professional network in the Web3/crypto ecosystem.
