We have partnered with one of the most recognised and innovative banks here in the UAE which is looking to add a Platform Owner who will lead and organize the AVD & O365 platform team to drive a world-class technology platform through a digital transformation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting the day-to-day operations of their Office 365 environment. This key role requires an individual with technical knowledge, leadership skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, deployment, and management of the Office 365 environment

• Ensure that the Office 365 platform meets the needs of the organization and its users

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot any issues with the platform

• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and best practices for the use of Office 365

• Manage the security and privacy of data stored in the Office 365 environment

• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Office 365 with other systems and services

• Conduct regular performance and capacity planning to ensure the platform's continued stability and availability

• Stay up-to-date with new features and capabilities of Office 365 and provide recommendations for improvements
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• At least 5 years of experience with Office 365 administration and support

• Azure Virtual Desktop experience required

• Strong understanding of Office 365 services, such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams

• Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and its integration with Office 365

• Experience with automation and scripting technologies, such as PowerShell

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
