25k-30kAED p/month + benefits
On-site, Business Bay (2 days p/week from home)
We are hiring a Social Media Director to build and shape a Social Media team for a reputable digital marketing agency, here in Dubai.
With offices globally in UK, Australia, China, Madrid and USA, our client has a history of building innovative digital marketing, creative, and paid media campaigns for big-name brands in the UAE and across the world such as Nike, Adidias, DMCC and many government entities.
They are building a new Social Media team from the ground up, having already hired a Social Media executive, they are looking for a Social Media Director to join and shape the structure of the team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement social media strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals and marketing objectives.
Oversee and lead the social media team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development, hiring more team members
Collaborate with senior leadership to set social media goals and KPIs, and report on performance regularly.
Create and manage social media budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Identify and capitalise on emerging social media trends and technologies to keep the company at the forefront of digital innovation.
Work with the paid media team to activate paid campaigns
Develop crisis management plans for social media, and lead response efforts during any issues or controversies.
Work closely with the marketing, tech and creative teams to ensure cohesive and integrated campaigns.
Build a culture of creativity and innovation within the social media team.
Bonus experience:
Arabic language is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience in e-sports, retail, tech, travel and government sectors.
Demonstrable understanding of email marketing, lead generation and SEO.
Capability to work with AI tools to improve work efficiency.
Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and other creative tools are a plus
To be considered for this role, you must hold at least 6 years experience as a Social Media specialist, with management experience.
