Saudi Adds Five New Categories to Visa Scheme

Special Talent

The special talent residency offers two pathways: 1) Catering to health and scientific talents and researchers 2) For executives, each with unique salary and experience prerequisites.

Criteria

  • Employment in priority specialisations at approved entities

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Over three years' experience in relevant fields

  • Employer endorsement letter

  • Min score in the points system

  • For healthcare and science, min monthly SR35,000, and researchers' minimum monthly salary of SR14,000.

For executives:

  • Executive level contract with minimum monthly salary of SAR 80,000

  • Employer endorsement letter

TWO
Real Estate

The Real Estate Owner residency in Saudi Arabia is aimed at affluent foreign real estate owners. It offers an opportunity to experience the country's high-quality lifestyle and participate in its developing, promising real estate market.

Criteria

  • Owning real estate worth at least SAR 4,000,000.

  • The property must be mortgage-free. (Now and future)

  • Ownership or use should not involve real estate financing.

  • Owned property must be residential and developed, excluding undeveloped land.

  • The property must be evaluated by Taqeem-accredited valuers in the Kingdom.

THREE
Investor Residency

The Investor residency targets investors eager to engage with Saudi Arabia's dynamic, upcoming business environment, aiming to achieve substantial returns across various sectors of the economy.

Criteria

  • Obtain an investment license and provide commercial register and articles of incorporation.

  • Invest a minimum of SAR 7 million in Saudi economic activities as per the Investment Law.

  • For Permanent Residency:

  • Conditional on investing SAR 7 million within the first two years and creating 10 jobs during this period.

FOUR
Entrepreneur

The Investor residency targets investors eager to engage with Saudi Arabia's upcoming business environment, aiming to achieve substantial returns across various sectors of the economy.

Criteria

For the first category:

  • Must have an entrepreneur license from the Ministry of Investment.

  • Secure a minimum investment of SAR 400,000 from a Ministry-accredited entity.

  • Obtain a recommendation letter from the investment entity.

  • Own at least 20% of the company shares.

For the second category:

  • Possess an entrepreneur license from the Ministry of Investment.

  • Secure a minimum investment of SAR 15 Million from a Ministry-accredited entity.

  • Have a recommendation letter from the investing entity.

  • Own at least 10% of the start-up.

  • Create at least 10 jobs each in the first and second years.

FIVE
Gifted Residency

The gifted residency program is designed to blend talent into Saudi Arabia's thriving cultural and sports sectors.

For the first category:

Eligibility includes winning specified awards, proving financial stability for living in Saudi and securing a recommendation from the Culture or Sports Ministry based on the applicant's expertise.

For the second category:

Meeting Culture and Sports Ministries' eligibility, proving financial sufficiency for Saudi living and securing a relevant ministry recommendation.
