Location: Relocation to Abu Dhabi (Relocation support provided)

Contract: Full time, permanent position

Salary: 29k/32k AED Per Month - Tax-Free + Benefits

Our client is a leading tech business specializing in AI and Big data, focusing on leveraging and implementing AI tools and cutting-edge technologies. They are looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer (Python, C++) to develop business-specific software components and modules, following design standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Will design business-specific software components and modules using appropriate modelling techniques in Python

• Design and communicate multiple views to balance functional and non-functional requirements across stakeholders.

• Model or simulate software behaviour for stakeholder approval and smooth construction.

• Design, code, test, and document complex programs/scripts and integration services.

• Define scope, requirements, and priorities for small-scale changes and assist with larger initiatives.

• Follow standards to gather and document detailed requirements.

• Assist in selecting development approaches, whether predictive (plan-driven) or adaptive (agile).

• Design and execute test cases, mapping to criteria, and report outcomes clearly.

• Maintain expertise in database and data warehouse concepts, design, and architecture.

• Optimize user experience for speed, scalability, and technical feasibility.

• Participate in architecture discussions to understand product architecture and functionality.

• Develop reusable code and libraries for future use.

• Ensure compliance with QHSE, business continuity, security, privacy, and risk management policies.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science

• Hands-on experience with Python, API development

• Experience in C++ programming.

• Experience with Javascript, Big data/Hadoop, and Docker

• Ability to collaborate with and mentor junior developers.

• Experience with Kubernetes and Cloud Platform's
